📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive audits of food safety management systems (FSMS) in accordance with ISO 22000 standards. • Assess documentation, including food safety policies, procedures, and records, to ensure compliance with ISO requirements. • Analyze the effectiveness of the FSMS, including hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), to identify potential risks. • Detect areas of non-compliance or weaknesses in the FSMS and provide recommendations for corrective actions. • If applicable, oversee the collection of samples for testing to verify compliance with safety standards. • Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations for improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• A food-related or bioscience degree (minimum a bachelor’s degree or equivalent) OR Atleast a successfully completed food-related professional higher education. • At least 2 years of work experience in food industry • A minimum of two (2) year work experience, which may include consulting activities, in food safety and/or quality management within the food industry sector OR at least 5 (10 man-days) third-party or second-party audits that includes HACCP, QMS and Food Safety requirements. • HACCP course (minimum 16 hours) recognized by the International HACCP Alliance; and ISO 22000:2018 course (minimum of 16 hours) + Lead Auditor course (on QMS) of 40 hours of duration including the exam. OR Lead Auditor Course (FSMS (ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000) of 40 hours of duration including the exam. • Minimum: 20 days as auditor of Quality Management Systems, Food Safety Management Systems or other Food Safety Standards (i.e. GFSI). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
