📋 Description

• Partner with sales to assess customer networks, capture technical requirements and pain points, and create tailored solution designs with measurable business outcomes • Design, test, and deploy multi-path traffic orchestration systems across satellite and terrestrial environments using Quvia products and third-party integrations • Set up customer profiles at the edge, cloud, and datacenters/POPs • Lead proofs of concept end to end, including success criteria, solution design, hardware specifications, installation, configuration, and testing • Troubleshoot complex issues with customers, QA, and Engineering teams • Own the handoff from proof of concept to production • Use scripting and DevOps practices for configuration templating, workflow automation, and repeatable deployments • Advise customers on best practices and optimal use of terrestrial and satellite communication systems • Present status updates and health metrics to customer stakeholders • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams • Coordinate with sales, product management, systems, engineering, QA, and service delivery teams • Develop and maintain comprehensive solution and service documentation • Complete successful handoffs to relevant teams at project end

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field • At least 5 years of network engineering experience across terrestrial and/or satellite communications, including multi-link architecture • Deep networking fundamentals, including routing and switching, network security, wireless, and datacenter networking • Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN), multi-vendor SD-WAN, and Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) platforms such as Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco (Meraki/Viptela), Cradlepoint (Ericsson), Palo Alto, or similar enterprise solutions • Scripting and DevOps experience in a networking context, including Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero-touch provisioning, and workflow automation • Track record of leading customer-facing POCs, deployments, or migrations in large enterprise environments • Ability to convert customer networks, technical requirements, and pain points into business outcomes and articulate value to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Knowledge and understanding of managing virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM • Thorough understanding of computer hardware and operating systems • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence leading customer conversations at engineering and executive level • Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities to reduce cost, simplify delivery, and open new market segments through solution design • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Satellite communication (SATCOM) systems knowledge and experience is a plus • Experience with cloud-hosted networking and security, such as Azure- or AWS-hosted NGFW, is a plus
