📋 Description

• Own monitoring of the credit portfolio, including vintages, losses, originations, NPL by cohort, and profitability • Evaluate and underwrite high-ticket merchant credit facilities of USD 100K–200K and above at scale • Define and track business metrics including loss, yield/profitability, portfolio construction, and portfolio health • Extract, structure, and analyze portfolio data independently using SQL • Apply statistical reasoning to portfolio questions • Partner closely with the business team and handle client interaction • Generate findings and transform them into presentations for a larger audience • Automate monitoring KPIs for the portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 7 years of experience in credit, lending, credit risk, business analytics, or a lending institution • Background in a fintech, payment processor, POS provider, or bank with real lending/credit exposure • Hands-on underwriting experience, ideally with large/high-ticket merchant credit • Ability to work at scale through mass evaluation rather than manual case-by-case review • Strong data analysis skills using SQL and/or Python • Statistical and data literacy, including statistics, data analysis, and model interpretation fundamentals • Comfort using AI tools is a plus • Experience working with US or LatAm teams across time zones and cultures is a strong plus • Corporate/B2B cards underwriting experience with high limits is relevant experience • Credit/lending experience and cultural fit required for candidates from traditional or corporate backgrounds
