📋 Description

• Act as the L3 escalation point for complex Cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and deployment issues • Lead major technical activities across production and non-production environments • Own complex infrastructure changes, upgrades, migrations, and platform improvements • Lead and coordinate Disaster Recovery planning, restore testing, failover/failback, recovery, validation, and runbook activities • Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform and maintain reusable Terraform modules • Review Terraform code and infrastructure changes implemented by L1/L2 engineers • Define Terraform coding standards, repository structures, and implementation best practices • Develop reusable Ansible roles, playbooks, and automation workflows using AWX/Ansible • Automate server configuration, patching, application deployment, infrastructure operations, and repetitive BAU activities • Design and maintain ArgoCD-based deployments and implement GitOps practices for Kubernetes and applications • Manage and troubleshoot ArgoCD applications, sync issues, configuration drift, deployment failures, environment promotion, and rollbacks • Design and maintain Kubernetes workloads on Amazon EKS and develop reusable Helm charts • Define Helm values, templates, and environment-specific configuration standards • Design and improve CI/CD deployment processes and support Jenkins and other CI/CD automation • Lead automation initiatives using Terraform, Ansible/AWX, Bash, Python, and CI/CD pipelines • Define and enforce standards for Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, GitOps, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, automation, cloud operations, patching, and deployment processes • Establish reusable templates, modules, pipelines, and automation frameworks • Lead complex production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent automated solutions • Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational reliability • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions • Lead production deployments, infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance • Mentor and provide technical guidance to L1 and L2 engineers • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, technical standards, architecture documentation, DR documentation, and operational procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or a related field • Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, AWX, Ansible, ArgoCD, GitOps, Helm, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD, Git, Linux, Windows, Bash/Python, SSL/TLS, infrastructure automation, disaster recovery, monitoring and logging, production troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Ability to lead technical activities independently • Ability to own complex Cloud and DevOps changes • Ability to design and implement automation • Ability to lead Disaster Recovery activities • Ability to implement GitOps using ArgoCD • Ability to build automation using AWX/Ansible • Ability to develop and review Terraform code • Ability to define technical standards and best practices • Ability to drive operational improvements • Ability to mentor L1/L2 engineers • Ability to handle complex production incidents and root cause analysis
