📋 Description

• Maintain, evaluate, and compile client financial transaction records in computerized accounting systems • Maintain and balance accounts using computerized accounting systems • Ensure complete working papers are maintained • Prepare timesheets to raise client invoices for finalized and delivered jobs • Ensure timely and quality delivery of client job orders • Support senior accountants and management with accounting, tax compliance, and bookkeeping tasks • Attend weekly workflow meetings • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely service delivery and client expectations are met

🎯 Requirements

• Basic understanding of Australian tax and GST (mandatory) • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Australian accounting, tax, and audit • Understanding of accounts receivable and payable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting • Great communication skills in English • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Proficiency in Xero • Experience in audit and assurance and proficiency in Caseware • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team • Honest, reliable, and proactive • Degree in Accounting and/or CA or CPA qualification (nice-to-have) • Proficiency in MYOB and QuickBooks (nice-to-have) • 40 hours per week availability • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST, with a one-hour lunch break
