📋 Description

• Implement governance controls and enrich the data catalog • Improve data classification, data quality, access to data products, and data lineage • Maintain clear records of data owners and stewards • Identify opportunities to optimize governance processes • Implement automations to make governance more efficient, scalable, and user-friendly • Partner with data and AI engineers and business stakeholders to develop practical governance solutions • Collaborate with Governance, Risk & Compliance experts to improve the end-to-end audit trail • Ensure data-related processes are transparent and traceable • Manage the data catalog and service desk • Help teams navigate governance requirements and adopt practical solutions balancing innovation with risk management

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and enriching data catalogs using platforms such as Purview, Databricks, Collibra, or similar tools • Hands-on experience with Python and SQL is a strong plus • Solid understanding of data governance principles and practices, including data quality, classification, lineage, access management, and data ownership • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards • Analytical thinking and ability to work with structured data, identify process improvements, and explore automation opportunities • Confidence working in a distributed team and balancing independence with collaboration • Ability to partner with technical experts and business stakeholders
