📋 Description

• Work hands-on as a subject matter expert in Red Hat infrastructure, cloud technology, and cloud-native development with clients • Advise on best practices for automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups • Lead on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat technology • Understand customers' infrastructures, application landscapes, and business issues • Make recommendations appropriate to customer environments • Develop common libraries and services and implement reference implementations • Coach client development teams in modern development methodologies • Conduct mini enablements and support DevEx initiatives • Develop conversion and system implementation plans • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation • Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards • Serve as a subject matter expert addressing technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs • Adapt to changing customer requirements and act as a trusted advisor • Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions • Deliver quality results on-site or remotely and post-engagement, on time and within project scope • Produce project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies at a delivery level • Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments • Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Ansible Automation Platform • OpenShift / cloud-native development • Java Spring Boot or Python • Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD), and GitLab CI/CD • Observability technologies: Prometheus, Loki, Tempo/OTEL, and Grafana • Service Mesh with Istio • DevSecOps • Kafka • PostgreSQL • Microcks • OPL (Open Practice Library) • JMeter • Cucumber • Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions • Understanding of the open source community • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills • Excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English • German language proficiency at C1 level or above is mandatory • Willingness to travel across EMEA if needed • Prior consulting experience or Red Hat Certifications are a plus • Willingness to obtain security clearance is a plus
