📋 Description
• Design and execute test cases for ETL pipelines moving data into and out of MongoDB and Azure data services • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and transformation logic from source systems through to Power BI dashboards • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and data layer testing • Write MongoDB aggregation queries and SQL to verify data integrity and reconciliation • Test Power BI reports and dashboards for data correctness, calculation logic, and refresh reliability • Validate Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Functions, and related data workflows • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and product teams on test strategy • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
🎯 Requirements
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB: aggregation pipelines, indexing, query optimization • Working knowledge of Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage, or Databricks) • Experience testing Power BI reports - validating DAX measures, data models, and visualizations • Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest • Programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C# • API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) • Strong SQL skills for cross-validation against relational sources
