📋 Description
• Record sales and purchase invoices • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts • Manage supplier payments and customer receipts • Prepare month-end figures for review • Keep records organised and audit-ready • Own the monthly books for a UK business • Keep day-to-day ledgers, reconciliations and month-end preparation accurate and up to date
🎯 Requirements
• Experience as a bookkeeper or accounts clerk • Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage • Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills • Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) • Familiarity with UK VAT (nice to have) • Experience with Dext or Hubdoc (nice to have) • A bookkeeping certificate (nice to have)
