📋 Description

• Manage company and client bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop • Prepare individual and business U.S. tax returns • Complete and submit state sales tax filings • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts • Review accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness • Maintain organized financial documentation for tax and audit purposes • Collaborate with team members based in the United States • Complete tax filings on time while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience using QuickBooks Desktop in a professional accounting environment • Strong working knowledge of ProSeries Desktop • Hands-on experience preparing U.S. individual and corporate tax returns • Solid understanding of U.S. federal and state tax regulations • Experience preparing and filing sales tax returns • Strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals • Good written and verbal English communication skills • Reliable computer equipment and stable high-speed internet connection • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and remain available during EST business hours • Previous remote experience supporting a U.S. accounting or tax practice (nice to have) • Familiarity with IRS Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S (nice to have) • Experience managing accounting for multiple companies or clients (nice to have) • Knowledge of payroll processing and year-end reporting requirements (nice to have) • Experience working with confidential financial and tax data (nice to have)
