📋 Description

• Take ownership of day-to-day financial control and accounting activities • Manage and review financial transactions, expenditure, and reconciliations • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making • Monitor financial performance and identify unusual trends, discrepancies, or potential risks • Review expenditure and identify opportunities for cost savings and greater efficiency • Support improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting • Investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution • Provide clear financial insights to non-financial stakeholders • Ensure financial processes are followed consistently and accurately • Work closely with internal stakeholders and challenge expenditure or processes where appropriate • Take ownership of financial issues and proactively identify solutions • Maintain strong attention to detail while keeping sight of the wider commercial picture

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in Financial Control, Accounting, Finance Management, or a similar role • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks or a comparable accounting platform • Experience managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and expenditure • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills • Experience identifying cost-saving opportunities or improving financial processes • Ability to identify unusual trends, discrepancies, and financial risks • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Good commercial awareness and ability to understand the bigger picture • Experience working independently and taking ownership of a financial function • Strong organisational skills and follow-through • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with other accounting and financial software • CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous but not required
