📋 Description

• Analyse sales data and market trends to support purchasing decisions • Plan and place supplier orders in line with business requirements • Manage ongoing communication with approximately 10–20 vendors each month • Track order progress, supplier commitments, and delivery deadlines • Coordinate warehouse preparation and readiness for onward fulfilment • Liaise with Amazon on relevant order and fulfilment matters • Identify delays or discrepancies early and coordinate their resolution • Maintain accurate records and keep colleagues informed of progress, risks, and next steps

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or supply chain operations • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence interpreting sales data • A structured, consistent approach to managing multiple suppliers and deadlines • Excellent follow-through and proactive communication • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team • An easygoing, professional manner and high standards of accountability • Availability for South African daytime hours and some evening work • A reliable computer, internet connection, and suitable remote working setup • Comfort working with Google Workspace • E-commerce or Amazon experience is an advantage, but is not essential
