📋 Description

• Deliver production-quality features and fixes within an assigned product stream using AI coding agents as the primary development tool • Take on architecturally significant or ambiguous work • Set standards for prompting, context management, and agent-generated code review • Audit AI-generated code for correctness, performance, security, and coding-standard adherence • Own and improve prompts, context documents, system instructions, AGENTS.md, Skills, and related documentation • Identify work suited to AI-assisted development versus manual implementation • Influence build-vs-buy and architectural trade-off decisions • Own system architecture, database schemas, API contracts, service boundaries, and deployment pipelines • Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions • Set test-coverage standards and ensure AI-generated code includes automated tests • Debug and resolve complex full-stack issues using manual and AI-assisted techniques • Drive identification and remediation of technical debt • Mentor engineers in AI-native practices, prompting strategies, and workflow improvements • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on roadmap priorities • Represent the product stream’s AI-native practices and progress to engineering leadership • Document effective patterns and failure modes and drive adoption across teams • Lead sprint ceremonies, technical planning, and cross-stream knowledge sharing • Support organisation-wide adoption through collaboration, coaching, and knowledge transfer

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of demonstrated experience building software using AI coding agents as a primary development tool, with genuine agent-driven development workflows • Portfolio, GitHub profile, or personal projects evidencing a mature AI-native development approach, including setting standards or mentoring others • Deep software engineering fundamentals, including system design, data structures, API design, testing strategies, and deployment practices • Senior-level ability to assess AI-generated code for performance, security, edge cases, correctness, and architectural fit • Proven full-stack software engineering experience across frontend and backend • Ability to provide constructive architectural feedback to AI tools and coach or mentor engineers • Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction in a collaborative, cross-functional product team • Experience with PHP/Laravel, Vue.js/React.js, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP is desirable • Experience in SaaS, proptech, or real estate technology is desirable • Familiarity with prompt engineering, context-window management, and improving AI-agent output quality is desirable • Open-source contributions or public writing demonstrating thought leadership is desirable • Experience leading or mentoring agile product teams with end-to-end delivery ownership is desirable • Experience helping a team or organisation transition to a new technical practice or operating model is desirable
