📋 Description

• Conduct advanced analyses of complex tax calculations and tax compliance obligations • Review and validate monthly tax closings, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to deadlines • Serve as a technical reference, mentoring and developing junior and mid-level analysts • Identify tax risks, propose solutions, and support leadership decision-making • Perform analyses of direct and indirect taxes, including withholding taxes • Lead technical meetings with clients and support internal and external audits • Develop and standardize tax procedures and controls, strengthening tax compliance • Participate in tax studies, PER/DCOMP processes, and improvement initiatives • Contribute to integration among the Tax, Accounting, Finance, and Payroll departments • Support the implementation and optimization of tax systems and technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field • Solid experience in tax, with at least 3 years at the mid-level or 5 years at the senior level • Expertise in calculating ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ, and CSLL, including Presumed Profit regime operations • Experience calculating withholding taxes, including IRRF, PIS, COFINS, and CSLL • Expertise in ancillary tax obligations, including SPED ICMS/IPI, GIA, and EFD-Contribuições • Experience with PER/DCOMP and tax studies • Intermediate Excel proficiency • Analytical ability, critical thinking, a systems perspective, and confidence in providing technical guidance to other professionals • Preferred: experience in accounting firms, BPO, or outsourcing • Preferred: experience calculating ICMS across different Brazilian states • Preferred: knowledge of TOTVS Protheus and Domínio systems • Preferred: experience with audits, process improvement, and technical client relations
