📋 Description

• Design US English voices for live debt-collection calls • Determine how required compliance language should be delivered so it sounds informative rather than threatening • Make decisions about accent, pacing, stress, and pauses, and defend voice choices to clients • Edit voice configuration in the repository, run the pipeline, listen to outputs, make adjustments, and open pull requests • Identify and communicate tooling limitations precisely • Find and direct voice actors during recording sessions • Cut, clean, and prepare recorded takes for pipeline use • Define evidence-based voice quality criteria, including naturalness, intelligibility over poor phone lines, and consistency during twelve-minute calls • Add voice quality evaluation criteria to the release-gating evaluation suite • Collaborate in small client teams, review work, and document decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience working on how things sound, such as sound design, audio post, music production, game audio, or interface audio • Ability to record and edit speech independently • Ability to direct voice actors and salvage takes from imperfect recording environments • Strong ear for American English and ability to assess accent, delivery, and suitability for collections calls • Comfort working in a terminal with scripts, configuration files, git, and AI coding tools • Portfolio or audio samples that can be listened to • Availability overlapping with US afternoons, including some evenings in IST • TTS or voice cloning experience is advantageous • Familiarity with SSML, prosody controls, ElevenLabs, or similar tools is advantageous • Understanding of 8 kHz narrowband audio is advantageous • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or crisis-line audio is advantageous • Interest in taking on another locale is advantageous
