📋 Description

• Manage suppliers and ensure delivered quality • Oversee and verify accurate product finish dates • Collaborate closely with suppliers and the headquarters team in Vancouver, British Columbia • Ensure timely and efficient product availability in the portfolio • Analyze supplier performance and provide feedback • Negotiate supplier agreements • Apply and optimize quality expertise to support continued success

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in quality control • Background working in the furniture industry (required) • Accurate colour acuity • Basic English verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently without direct supervision and effectively as a team • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail • Flexibility • Basic computer knowledge, including operating a tablet and simple data entry • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism • Proactive root-cause identification and solution development • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical, or related field (preferred) • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings • Strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills • Proficiency in data entry and analytics tools • Good sense of high-end quality • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities • Proficiency in English
