• Conduct thorough marine safety audits onboard vessels, assessing compliance with international maritime safety regulations and company policies. • Identify safety risks, non-compliances, and potential hazards during audits and inspections. • Prepare detailed audit reports with recommendations for corrective actions and follow-up as necessary. • Collaborate with vessel crews and management to promote best practices in marine safety and implement audit recommendations. • Stay current with evolving maritime safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices. • Support training initiatives and safety awareness programs as part of continuous improvement efforts. • Ensure all audit documentation and records are accurately maintained and submitted on time.
• Minimum Certificate of competency Class 2 or above in Nautical Studies • Knowledge of maritime safety regulations such as SOLAS, IMO, and ISM Code. • Proven ability to conduct thorough safety audits and write clear, concise reports. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vessel crews and management. • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and stay onboard vessels for audit assignments. • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 19011 Lead Auditor, or equivalent are highly desirable. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Willing to travel up to 60 to 70 percents • Will be base in home countries when not travelling
