📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, 2D/3D experiences, and backend services for interacting with high-precision geospatial data • Build APIs and services used across web, mobile, edge, and third-party applications, operating across cloud, on-premise, and intermittently connected environments • Develop and optimise components of high-volume data processing pipelines handling point clouds, meshes, imagery, and other spatial data • Collaborate with Computer Vision, machine learning, mobile, and geospatial teams • Work with product managers and UX to translate customer problems into technical solutions • Contribute to architecture, development standards, testing and observability • Use modern AI-assisted development tools and AI agents for implementation, debugging, code review, security analysis, testing, and technical documentation • Take ownership of features and systems from design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js • Working experience with large datasets or computationally intensive data processing pipelines • Experience designing scalable APIs, backend services, and production application architectures • Experience with geospatial software, GIS, and 2D/3D data, such as point clouds, meshes, orthophotos, terrain, models, LiDAR • Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, performance optimisation, and automated testing • Experience with Docker, CI/CD and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP • Experience debugging, profiling and operating production applications, including logging, metrics and error monitoring • Strong problem-solving skills, technical judgment and ownership, with the ability to work effectively on complex or ambiguous problems • Fluency in Spanish and English • Legally entitled to work in Mexico • Highly regarded: Experience with WebGL, CesiumJS, or Three.js, including spatial data formats, projections, and coordinate systems • Highly regarded: Experience integrating Computer Vision, machine learning, or AI capabilities into production products • Highly regarded: Experience in mining, construction, autonomous systems, robotics, or other industrial environments
