📋 Description

• Complete central onboarding by pairing with a team member for approximately two weeks, then manage assigned brands • Lead onboarding of at least one brand to paved-road standards including GitHub organization, CI/CD, monitoring/observability and Infrastructure as Code • Deliver migrations and refactors such as CI/CD, infrastructure modernization, and cost or availability improvements • Document technical decisions for reuse by others • Lead infrastructure projects for assigned brands, including migrations, performance and reliability improvements, incident response practices, containerization and cloud cost optimization • Establish or upgrade CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, alerting and SLO-aligned dashboards • Baseline and improve reliability using data • Advise brand CTOs and engineering leads on architecture and trade-offs • Contribute to and use central services such as observability and backups • Collaborate with developers during product-team engagements and troubleshoot across application and infrastructure boundaries • Use AI tools such as Claude Code or Codex daily for Infrastructure as Code, scripting and incident diagnosis • Help brand teams adopt AI tools in their workflows • Participate in a lightweight on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform or Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles • Senior-level ownership and autonomy • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure • Practical Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices • Experience assessing, designing and modernizing pipelines • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus, or similar • Hands-on, daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar in real infrastructure work • Ability to coach brand teams on effective use of AI coding tools • Background in software development or ability to read and debug application code • Excellent communication and consulting skills • Ability to advise and influence technical stakeholders across different teams and technology stacks
