📋 Description

• Verify and validate FPGA and SoC solutions for embedded systems in Defence and/or aerospace environments • Plan, execute, and coordinate verification activities within complex development projects • Verify technical requirements and detailed specifications for FPGA-based hardware architectures and control systems • Develop and execute verification plans, test procedures, and test cases • Perform functional, integration, and system-level verification of FPGA and SoC solutions • Conduct FPGA simulations and debugging using industry-standard verification tools • Perform PLD/FPGA design reviews covering requirements, concepts, detailed designs, and verification results • Analyze, document, and communicate verification and validation results • Create, review, and evaluate safety concepts, safety analyses, and compliance documentation • Support certification and qualification activities in accordance with aerospace standards and processes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary hardware, software, systems, and verification engineering teams • Contribute to colleague and client skill development and technical leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification • Solid experience in the verification and validation of FPGA and SoC based systems • Ideally, experience in Defence and/or Aerospace development environments • Proven experience with FPGA and SoC technologies and corresponding development and verification tools (e.g. Microchip, AMD, Altera, Lattice) • Strong knowledge of FPGA verification methodologies and simulation environments • Experience with ModelSim/QuestaSim, Riviera-PRO, or comparable verification tools • Experience with requirements-based verification, test planning, and verification reporting • Experience with model-based development approaches and tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) is an advantage • Ideally, experience with FPGA verification for aerospace applications in accordance with ECSS • Strong proficiency in writing testbenches using both VHDL and SystemVerilog • Solid experience with verification methodologies and libraries such as UVM, OSVVM, UVVM • Fluent Italian • Fluent English, oral and written • Problem solving • Good communication skills • Goal-oriented approach • Self-driven • Proactive to solution • Teamwork
