📋 Description

• Own the general ledger for assigned entities, including fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and FX revaluation • Prepare month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and clearing open items • Analyse income statement and balance sheet variances • Prepare and post intercompany calculations and invoices • Prepare and review VAT returns and other statutory reporting • Prepare selected statutory financial statements and audit documentation • Review AP postings for correct coding, VAT treatment, and approval routing • Investigate and clear unidentified bank postings • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Treasury • Support process improvement and the NetSuite roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, in an international multi-entity environment • Proven ability to close a set of entities independently and pick up an existing process quickly with limited handover • Solid understanding of VAT treatment on cross-border transactions within the EU, including reverse charge and intra-EU acquisitions • Strong understanding of statutory and management reporting in more than one jurisdiction • Experience preparing statutory financial statements and supporting external audits • Proficiency in an ERP system, preferably NetSuite, including multi-currency accounting • Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field • Fluency in spoken and written English • Strong Excel skills • Experience with a systems implementation or process automation project is a strong plus
