📋 Description

• Design water desalination and wastewater treatment plants • Ensure compliance with client specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements • Develop mass balances and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) • Prepare hydraulic profiles and preliminary plant layouts • Develop P&IDs and perform hydraulic calculations, including flow rates, pressures, flow velocities, pipe sizing, and material selection • Prepare line, equipment, motor, instrument, valve, and I/O lists • Develop technical specifications for equipment, instrumentation, and valves • Support Procurement with equipment selection and supplier evaluations • Develop Sequences of Operations (SOO) • Prepare plant commissioning and start-up procedures • Prepare plant Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals • Participate in technical meetings and engineering status updates • Work within the project engineering team, reporting to the project manager and lead engineer • Provide on-call support during project launches as needed • Support plant commissioning through on-site business trips when required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Water and Wastewater Engineering — mandatory • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater treatment industry • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in engineering project companies — mandatory • Hands-on experience in plant commissioning and start-up — significant advantage • High level of English proficiency (technical English) • Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes • Proven experience with PFDs, mass and energy balances, P&IDs, data sheets, equipment suppliers, and technical evaluations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent self-learning ability • Strong organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in preparing technical presentations • Highly motivated, proactive, and diligent • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Proficiency in AutoCAD — mandatory • Proficiency in MS Office • Ability to work within company systems (shared folders) via provided credentials • Working hours aligned with Israel Standard Time preferred • Availability for on-call support during project launches • Willingness to travel for commissioning-related business trips when required
