📋 Description

• Design and develop advanced security features for SentinelOne’s Windows endpoint protection platform • Work across user-mode and kernel-mode environments • Build and optimize anti-tampering protections, network sensors, agent infrastructure, and other kernel-side features • Develop installers, logging, communication layers, services, and interfaces for the Windows agent • Design and execute significant new features and rewrite or reimplement existing features • Test and debug complex real-world Windows and security problems • Research Windows internals and debug deep system issues • Address large-scale performance and optimization challenges • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle • Share knowledge across Platform teams and the broader Windows group • Protect millions of enterprise and government customer endpoints worldwide

🎯 Requirements

• Multiple years of experience as a software engineer in low-level programming using modern C++ (or using C and a willingness to learn modern C++) • Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of Windows OS design and internals • Experience with Windows low-level development • Experience debugging Windows applications and familiarity with standard debugging and profiling tools • Previous experience working on a production-grade product with wide-scale deployment • Ability to work independently and with peers from different time zones • Problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking • Attention to detail and high coding standards • Candidates for the Spain role must already be eligible to work in the EU at the time of applying • Experience with Windows Kernel and Windows Drivers development, security-oriented development, reversing, or malware analysis is an advantage
