📋 Description

• Build and operate the platform enabling engineers to ship safely, quickly, and independently • Maintain the multi-account AWS foundation and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters • Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terragrunt through pull requests and Atlantis • Maintain deployment and GitOps tooling, Helm charts, shared deployment configuration, and CI/CD pipelines • Operate the observability stack for metrics, logs, traces, and alerting • Develop security and compliance foundations, including secrets management, access control, PCI DSS, DORA, and NIS2 controls • Build internal developer tooling, including AI agents and Claude Code plugins • Support international market expansion with isolation, compliance, and reliability • Develop independent AI agents for infrastructure changes, support, and incident response • Define strategies for adopting, upgrading, and securing open-source software • Scale infrastructure while keeping baseline costs flat • Pair with teammates and ship changes to production • Own technical design and deliver initiatives end-to-end • Identify opportunities, lead cross-team initiatives, and contribute to quarterly planning • Collaborate with product engineering, Security, Data Platform, and Compliance teams

🎯 Requirements

• Designed and operated highly available distributed systems in production • Experience handling incidents, post-mortems, and corrective changes • Proven experience scaling infrastructure at a global scale • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform in production • Product mindset focused on users and business outcomes • Hands-on experience working with AI agents in daily engineering work • Agency to identify, prioritize, and own problems through production • Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken • Nice to have: experience in fintech, payments, or regulated environments such as PCI DSS or DORA • Nice to have: experience with Terragrunt, Atlantis, or GitOps workflows • Nice to have: scripting or programming in Python, Go, or similar • Nice to have: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic stack, or Tempo experience • Nice to have: internal developer platforms or self-service tooling experience • Nice to have: building AI agents, skills, or engineering automations • Nice to have: on-call rotation experience
