📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable, reliable and maintainable software across the stack • Partner with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions and own features end-to-end • Build intuitive, extensible experiences using modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue • Design and deliver new products and features while enhancing existing capabilities • Embed automated testing and quality practices across functional, integration, regression and performance testing • Participate in design and code reviews, championing engineering best practices, performance and maintainability • Troubleshoot complex systems, optimise performance and strengthen reliability, observability and production readiness • Share knowledge and best practices to foster engineering excellence and continuous improvement • Build intelligent, data-driven products that help customers measure, communicate and accelerate business value

🎯 Requirements

• Australian citizenship • Currently reside in Australia • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance • Willingness to undergo and successfully complete the required security clearance assessment and adjudication process • 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java or similar object-oriented languages • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue • Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines • Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows, including validating datasets, model outputs or inference consistency • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimise performance across the stack • Familiarity with IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control and Unix-based systems • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking when using AI to improve workflows, decision-making and problem-solving
