📋 Description
• Design and build backend services in Golang that integrate with payment processors and gateways • Own critical money-movement flows end to end: authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, reconciliation, and chargeback/dispute handling • Operate within PCI DSS scope • Instrument and monitor payment health • Mentor engineers and help raise the bar across the team.
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering • Strong Go (preferred), or comparable experience in Python • Hands-on experience integrating with payment processors, gateways, or acquiring systems • Experience in distributed, cloud-based architectures using patterns like transactional outboxes or queuing tools (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Demonstrated experience working with AI tools like Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
