📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver new backend-focused features • Design software applications and features in Golang and React • Help build distributed architecture and scalable solutions • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products • Develop and collect metrics for continuous product improvement • Deliver high-quality, tested features adhering to reporting standards • Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market • Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills • Partner with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams • Address internal and customer problems with scalable, innovative solutions

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go (preferably), Java, Python, or a similar language • Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architecture • Experience with transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfort leveraging AI for productivity, research, and communication is required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool • Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications • Record of bringing products to market and prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder/customer feedback
