📋 Description

• Design software applications and features in Golang and React • Build distributed architecture solutions that maintain consistency while scaling • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products • Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products • Deliver high-quality, testable features that adhere to reporting standards • Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market • Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their experience and knowledge • Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams • Provide scalable and innovative solutions to internal and customer problems • Unblock teammates and iterate based on feedback

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go (preferably), Java, Python, or a similar language • Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based architecture, including transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Preferred: Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool • Preferred: Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog • Preferred: DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS • Preferred: Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications • Preferred: Record of getting products to market and prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder/customer feedback
