📋 Description

• Conduct helideck inspections in line with applicable aviation standards (e.g. CAP 437) • Perform helideck friction testing and interpret results • Assess helideck infrastructure, markings, lighting, safety equipment, and operational readiness • Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings, limitations, and recommendations • Support and potentially conduct aviation operator audits where required • Review Safety Management Systems (SMS) and operational procedures when applicable • Act as technical liaison between SGS and client representatives • Maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders • Adhere strictly to the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in aviation • Demonstrated experience in helideck inspections or offshore/onshore aviation environments • Experience with helideck standards (e.g., CAP 437) is highly advantageous • Exposure to aviation audits (e.g., BARS, operator audits) is beneficial • Experience working within European aviation regulatory frameworks preferred • Formal aviation qualification (strict requirement) • SMS training and/or audit training is advantageous • Valid or previously held Pilot Licence (preferably ATPL or CPL) OR Valid or previously held Licensed Aeronautical Maintenance Engineer (AME)
