📋 Description

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs for a card issuance platform • Work on card lifecycle, transaction, settlement, reconciliation, and control workflows • Integrate with card processors, BIN sponsors, schemes, and other partners • Contribute to card-management product and frontend workflows • Build reliable services with strong testing, auditability, and operational visibility • Collaborate with product and engineering leads to translate requirements into working software • Participate in code reviews, releases, troubleshooting, and continuous engineering improvements

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience • Direct experience building or operating card issuance systems; general fintech or payments experience alone is not sufficient • Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience building APIs or microservices • Production Java and Spring Boot experience is strongly preferred • Working knowledge of card lifecycle concepts and the roles of processors, BIN sponsors, and schemes • Experience with relational databases and asynchronous messaging or event-driven systems • Ability to contribute to modern frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript • Clear communication and the ability to work independently in a remote, India-hours setup
