📋 Description
• Provide aged care clients with home help services, including general housekeeping, making beds, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping • Provide personal care, including getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed • Assist clients to take medications • Assist with mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Help family carers take a break or attend to other activities • Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and ask the manager for help when needed
🎯 Requirements
• Cert III qualified • Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability • At least 6 months’ experience in a similar role • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications • Valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Complete a Statutory Declaration before commencement • Complete a National Police check before commencement • Complete a Working Rights check before commencement • Complete a pre-employment functional assessment before commencement
