📋 Description

• Provide aged care clients with home help services, including general housekeeping and making beds • Clean, mop and vacuum floors • Wash, fold and iron laundry • Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping • Provide personal care, including getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed • Assist clients to take medications • Assist with mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Help family carers take a break or attend to other activities • Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems and ask a manager for help when needed • Contribute to Silverchain's Best Care approach for safe, personal, connected and effective care

🎯 Requirements

• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support (Aged Care) or (Ageing & Disability) • At least 6 months' experience in a similar role • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications • Valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families • Passion for providing excellent service • Prior to commencement, preferred candidates must complete a Statutory Declaration, National Police check, Working Rights check and pre-employment functional assessment
