• Provide home help services including general housekeeping and making beds • Clean, mop, and vacuum floors • Wash, fold, and iron laundry • Prepare meals and shop for groceries • Help clients get out of bed, showered, and dressed • Assist clients with taking medications • Assist with mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Give family carers a break or opportunity to do other things • Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and seek manager assistance when needed • Deliver safe, personal, connected, and effective care to aged care clients
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability • At least 6 months’ experience in a similar role • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications • Valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Availability Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm (60 hours per fortnight) • Complete a Statutory Declaration prior to commencement • Complete a National Police check prior to commencement • Complete a Working Rights check prior to commencement • Complete a pre-employment functional assessment prior to commencement
