📋 Description

• Design and build custom tooling, scripts, and applications using AI and LLMs to generate realistic simulated traffic to SaaS providers, cloud platforms, and enterprise endpoints • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, performant, and fault-tolerant core services for cybersecurity range simulation • Lead end-to-end technical projects and mentor engineers on architectural design • Create emulated cloud services and synthetic data pipelines that realistically support attacker and defender activity • Conduct code reviews and implement monitoring and alerting strategies for high uptime and company standards • Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, and content developers to translate training requirements into user-centered technical solutions • Maintain documentation for system design, technical architecture, and troubleshooting guides • Architect next-generation high-fidelity cyber simulations using microservices, event-driven messaging systems, and containerization • Develop hybrid solutions simulating traffic across IoT systems, local software, SaaS platforms, and cloud-native environments • Drive technical innovation simulating real-life cyber attacks and human-user personas

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on building large-scale, distributed systems • Expertise in an OOP-based language such as Java, Kotlin, or Python • Demonstrable understanding of API design, including HTTP/S, REST, OAuth, and SAML • Proficiency in leveraging AI, LLM, and API capabilities for complex automation and simulation challenges • Proven experience with unit/integration testing and deploying services in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet for managing virtualized platforms such as VMware • Experience working within or developing for air-gapped environments • Expertise in virtual networking architecture, segmentation including VPCs and subnets, and secure connectivity solutions • Comfortable leading, driving, and delegating team initiatives • Experience in or tangential to cybersecurity, with understanding of offensive and defensive security • English proficiency sufficient to participate in interviews and conduct business entirely in English • Authorized to work in Costa Rica
