Sistema. bio is a company that designs, manufactures and deploys prefabricated modular biodigesters and associated biogas appliances to convert animal and organic waste into renewable biogas and organic biofertilizer. They provide installation, training, customer service and financing to small, medium and large farms across multiple countries, enabling clean cooking, thermal and mechanical/electrical uses of biogas while supporting regenerative agriculture and carbon mitigation.

📋 Description

• Support setup and day-to-day technical operations of the Agri Innovation Center in Senegal • Plan production, composting systems, liquid production, storage, quality checks, and demonstration activities • Prepare monthly operations reports covering production, raw materials, demonstration progress, budget, risks, and issues • Implement and maintain SOPs, batch records, and quality-control logs for bioslurry-based regenerative inputs • Review SOPs and quality documentation each production cycle with the Agri Innovation team • Train farmers, cooperative staff, and field teams on composting, bioslurry handling, regenerative inputs, soil health, and crop observation • Maintain complete training records, including attendance, topics, locations, gender disaggregation, photos, and follow-up actions • Plan and monitor field demonstrations, crop protocols, application schedules, farmer feedback, and product performance • Coordinate soil and product testing, laboratory follow-up, certification documentation, and regulatory submissions • Coordinate with partners, laboratories, regulatory bodies, cooperatives, and the Senegal Project Manager • Support activity planning, field evidence collection, training and production records, donor reporting inputs, and quarterly monitoring updates • Support product commercialization by engaging input buyers, farmer organizations, private companies, and local and national authorities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or a related field • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an added advantage • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in composting, bioslurry, biofertilizers, biopesticides, farmer training, or agricultural project implementation • Experience planning, budgeting, and managing agricultural or field-based projects from initiation to close-out • Experience with partner and stakeholder relationship management and capacity-building • Hands-on experience applying fertilizers, bio-inputs, and crop protection products according to agronomic guidelines • Ability to engage farmers, cooperatives, field teams, and government stakeholders through farm visits, trainings, and demonstrations • Strong data collection, record-keeping, project reporting, and monitoring & evaluation skills • Curious, adaptable, and hands-on, with a passion for science, innovation, and farming communities • Good communication skills • Willingness to travel and ability to work independently in field-based environments • Fluency in English and French is mandatory • Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage
