📋 Description

• Analyze court proceedings and documents related to civil forensic examinations. • Review contracts, statements, financial reports, and accounting records. • Perform calculations, reconciliations, financial analyses, and prepare calculation schedules. • Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and potential irregularities. • Prepare expert reports, opinions, technical reports, and responses to expert questions. • Organize documents, evidence, and information to support conclusions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC). • Experience in forensic accounting or civil litigation analysis. • Knowledge of general, financial, and balance-sheet accounting. • Proficiency in financial calculations, reconciliations, and calculation schedules. • Intermediate or advanced Excel skills. • Basic knowledge of procedural law as it applies to forensic accounting. • Experience preparing expert reports, opinions, and technical reports. • Strong technical writing skills and ability to interpret legal and accounting documents. • Experience tracking assignments and procedural deadlines. • Preferred: experience at a forensic accounting, accounting, audit, or consulting firm. • Preferred: experience serving as an expert witness or technical assistant in court proceedings. • Preferred: knowledge of the Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure as it applies to forensic accounting. • Preferred: knowledge of Brazilian Accounting Standards related to forensic accounting activities. • Preferred: familiarity with electronic court systems such as PJe and e-SAJ. • Preferred: experience with court calculations, monetary adjustments, and interest.
