📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in production Kubernetes clusters, on-premises and at scale • Deploy, upgrade, and maintain cluster lifecycle • Work directly with customers to help deploy workloads and diagnose problems • Improve the platform through automation and GitOps • Write and maintain runbooks • Join the on-call rotation after an onboarding period • Learn the environment quickly and achieve operational independence • Handle production incidents independently after onboarding • Take real work off the team as capacity grows

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, including running and debugging production clusters • Strong Linux fundamentals and systematic troubleshooting • GitOps in practice, preferably ArgoCD • Helm: writing and maintaining charts, not only installing them • Kubernetes networking at CNI level: Cilium, ingress, load balancing, DNS • Kubernetes storage: CSI, persistent volumes, stateful workloads • Experience working directly with customers and explaining technical problems and consequences • English at C1 level • CKA, CKAD or CKS; CKA preferred • Experience with Cluster API, kubeadm, or Rancher/RKE2 • Python scripting and automation • Public track record such as open-source contributions, talks, blog posts, or further certifications such as Kubestronaut • Takes ownership and carries problems through without needing to be chased • Spots problems before they become incidents • Gets productive quickly in an unfamiliar environment
