📋 Description

• Own the testing strategy for assigned features and areas • Decide which validation occurs at each layer, including unit, component, integration, API, golden, E2E, accessibility, performance, security, manual, and exploratory testing • Participate in discovery and specification reviews before development begins • Clarify assumptions, identify edge cases, risks, and dependencies • Design test cases as part of feature development, covering user journeys, happy paths, edge cases, error handling, recovery, and regression • Enable engineers to own their part of quality by providing test suites, regression packs, environments, and mock data • Execute prepared test cases and conduct mandatory exploratory testing • Maintain a living view of test coverage for each feature • Improve automation strategy and QA processes • Reduce flakiness, close coverage gaps, reduce repetitive manual regression, and support exploratory, accessibility, security, and performance testing • Use AI/LLM tools for test case design, automation scripting, and exploratory testing • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Data

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field • Senior level experience in QA • Experience owning quality for real features or products and making independent testing-strategy decisions • Ownership and proactivity mindset • User- and product-first approach to testing • Security mindset and comfort with shift-left quality practices • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Patrol, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright • Experience writing backend tests, including API, unit, and database tests • Experience testing RESTful services with Postman or similar tools • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions • Strong automation skills, or proactive attitude, solid technical base, and willingness to quickly learn automation • Nice to have: experience in web3 or fintech, or products handling real money • Nice to have: experience testing across API, integration, golden/screenshot, performance, and accessibility layers • Nice to have: experience with security testing
