• Preparar y presentar peticiones de bancarrota (Capítulos 7, 11 y 13). • Redactar documentos legales como mociones, alegatos y pruebas de reclamación. • Revisar e interpretar documentos financieros (declaraciones de impuestos, Schedule K-1, extractos bancarios). • Comunicarse con deudores en español para aclarar detalles financieros y legales. • Mantener archivos organizados y registrar datos en el software de bancarrota (Best Case). • Subir documentos a portales de fideicomisarios y monitorear plazos para evitar sanciones. • Realizar investigaciones legales y apoyar a los abogados en la preparación de audiencias. • Presentar documentos electrónicamente mediante CM/ECF y gestionar el sistema de seguimiento de casos. • Colaborar con abogados y personal de apoyo para garantizar cumplimiento y precisión.
• De 6 meses a 1 año de experiencia como paralegal en bancarrota en EE. UU. (preferible en casos individuales y empresariales). • Dominio de ingles avanzado C1. • Conocimiento sólido de procedimientos de bancarrota en EE. UU. y comunicación con fideicomisarios. • Familiaridad con sistemas CM/ECF y protocolos de tribunales de bancarrota. • Manejo de Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) y Adobe Acrobat Pro. • Experiencia con el software Best Case (se ofrece capacitación).
