📋 Description

• Operate and provide daily support for public cloud security controls and tools in AWS, including GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, AWS WAF, Amazon Inspector, AWS Config, and CloudTrail. • Monitor security events and alerts, performing triage, prioritization, escalation, and ticket follow-up. • Execute security incident response, including containment, investigation, recovery, documentation, and recording lessons learned. • Manage operational vulnerability processes, including scans, finding triage, and remediation tracking. • Apply and maintain security baselines and hardening standards across public cloud resources and on-premises environments, following CIS Benchmarks and internal policies. • Operate AWS identity and access management mechanisms (IAM), supporting permission reviews, credential rotation, and the principle of least privilege. • Analyze logs and audit trails to identify anomalies, support investigations, and maintain compliance evidence. • Support patch deployment and security configuration adjustments. • Integrate security tools into infrastructure and DevOps processes in accordance with ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps practices. • Document operating procedures, record activities, and keep the security operations knowledge base up to date. • Collaborate with cloud architects and internal and contracted technical teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any higher education degree combined with a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology of at least 360 hours, from an institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC). • ITIL Foundation Certified v4 or higher, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Agile Scrum Foundation, or Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC). • Two or more certifications in AWS and/or Azure technologies, products, or services. • One of the certifications must be one of the following: CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty. • Preferred experience: two years of project management in a public cloud IT infrastructure environment, related to the relevant technical specialties. • Hands-on experience operating and supporting AWS public cloud security (SecOps), including day-to-day monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management. • Experience operating native AWS security services such as GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, Amazon Inspector, AWS Config, CloudTrail, Amazon Detective, and Amazon Macie. • Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, WAF, IDS/IPS, patch management, hardening, and identity and access management. • Hands-on experience applying security frameworks in day-to-day operations, mapping controls and evidence to NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, and OWASP Top 10. • Technical experience managing activities according to Agile principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban. • Experience with DevSecOps practices applied to the integration, operation, and security of systems and infrastructure in public cloud and on-premises environments. • Experience with defensive security (Blue Team), threat hunting, event analysis, and SOC operations is a plus. • Demonstrated knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND, NIST, CIS Controls and CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, and OWASP Top 10.
