📋 Description
• Ensure service excellence and maintain robust, scalable technical foundations using Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, AWS, OpenSearch, and Redis • Lead the team through complex product and technical roadmaps • Improve delivery processes, systems, and tools while championing technical initiatives and direction • Build processes to identify and address technical issues and escalate larger initiatives for prioritization • Mentor engineers through pairing, documentation, workshops, and technical guidance • Act as technical owner for the access domain, leading initiatives and coordinating stakeholders • Design, create, and maintain internet-scale access platform solutions • Enhance monitoring and alerting, identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks, and deliver improvements to production • Lead technical design planning, facilitate peer review, and own cross-organizational projects and architecture • Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, support duty, technical presentations, and workshops
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years experience developing and supporting software in a production environment • 5+ years experience programming in an object oriented language such as Java, Python, C# or C++ • 3+ years experience leading engineering projects and initiatives, including distributed systems design, development, and implementation • Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication • Preferred: 5+ years experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services • Preferred: Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS or GCP • Preferred: 3 years experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases • Preferred: Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication • Ability to work remotely from within Poland or optionally from the Kraków office
