📋 Description

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, including junior engineers • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver customer experiences • Participate in and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and coding standards • Identify refactoring and optimization opportunities to improve maintainability and scalability • Complete new-hire training and ship an initial code change with pairing or mentoring • Independently own and deliver frontend components of small to medium features • Participate in testing, technical specification planning, requirements definition, estimation, code review, and retrospectives • Author technical specifications and collaborate on delivery plans • Mentor junior teammates on implementation, design review, software engineering, and Agile practices • Support end-to-end delivery of roadmap projects from technical planning through testing and final delivery • Identify technical initiatives such as technical debt reduction, new systems, dependencies, or performance improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience planning, building, and releasing frontend applications with web technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript) • Experience building web applications with TypeScript • Ability to confidently write web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Preferred: Experience working as a full stack engineer • Preferred: Experience working with Node.js • Preferred: Experience working in a large codebase • Preferred: Experience building and/or maintaining an internal UI library • Preferred: Communication and project management skills from collaborating across teams and functional areas
