📋 Description

• Own engineering delivery, planning, estimation, and execution for the product pod. • Partner with the pod owner to review PRDs, identify gaps, edge cases, and technical risks before development begins. • Lead technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and validate implementation approaches. • Drive predictable delivery while balancing speed, quality, and technical debt. • Enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, documentation, observability, security, and coding standards. • Ensure production quality by driving root cause analysis and preventing recurring issues. • Mentor engineers, improve engineering discipline, and foster a culture of ownership and accountability. • Collaborate with QA, Design, DevOps, and other teams to remove blockers and ensure successful releases. • Perform technical research for the pod on behalf of the pod owner.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience. • 2+ years leading engineering teams or technical delivery. • Strong experience building modern Enterprise SaaS products. • Solid understanding of software architecture and system design. • Knowledge of cloud-native applications, AWS preferred. • Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD, and automated testing. • Strong understanding of Agile product development. • Ability to review code and technical designs. • Excellent planning, estimation, and delivery management skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to balance business priorities with engineering quality. • Preferred: experience leading cross-functional product teams. • Preferred: experience in high-growth product startups. • Preferred: knowledge of secure software development practices. • Preferred: experience with observability, production monitoring, and incident management. • Preferred: experience mentoring senior engineers and technical leads. • Preferred: expertise with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows. • Clear communication and confidence to challenge and be challenged. • Curious, proactive, and generous with knowledge. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative product environment. • Strong desire to build real products that solve real problems.
