📋 Description

• Support customers on technical and service-related issues across Standard BioTools' Proteomics product portfolio • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair services on Proteomic systems at customer sites • Troubleshoot instrument hardware and software under challenging conditions • Contribute to high-value service-related procedures and documents • Identify and communicate product and process improvement opportunities • Use CRM business policies, procedures, and reporting • Travel throughout the assigned territory of Italy, Switzerland, and South France • Report directly to the Senior Manager, EMEA Field Service • Collaborate with interdisciplinary groups to achieve total customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Science or Engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience in the service and/or support of analytical instruments and/or combination of experience and education/training • Technical support/service experience required • Substantial working knowledge of optical, electrical, and mechanical sub-systems • Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies • Prior work with Life Science instrumentation • Experience with Mass Spectrometers or relevant technology highly desirable • Salesforce.com / ServiceMax familiarity a plus • Strong communication skills • Fluency in English • Proficiency in Italian and other European languages desirable • Ability to travel 60% on scheduled and unscheduled basis
