📋 Description

• Build and evolve a data engineering platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Develop tools, frameworks, and intelligent pipelines to accelerate the creation, validation, and deployment of data pipelines and models • Develop and enhance AI-assisted development workflows (Antigravity), including context libraries, templates, tools, and validations • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated SQL validation, contract testing, schema validation, data quality checks, and performance testing • Implement cost analysis and query optimization mechanisms in BigQuery using Dry Run, Query Explain, and identification of inefficient consumption patterns • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform, creating reusable modules for provisioning resources, permissions, and governance policies in GCP • Enhance orchestration processes with Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Workflows, Eventarc, and Pub/Sub, using metadata-driven and event-driven architectures • Integrate data engineering, automation, and AI tools into the development workflow, including automated Pull Request validations • Drive continuous improvements to the developer experience by reducing manual activities, rework, and delivery time

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Data Engineering on GCP, particularly with BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Workflows • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in automation, internal tool development, and integration with GCP APIs and SDKs • Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build), Terraform, and DataOps practices • Knowledge of SQL analysis and validation tools such as SQLFluff and SQLGlot • Experience developing and maintaining automated pipelines, tests, schema validation, and data governance • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, especially Antigravity, applied to code generation and validation • Nice to have: experience with Dataform or dbt, including unit tests, ephemeral environments, and Slim CI • Nice to have: knowledge of SQL AST analysis, data lineage, and automated anti-pattern detection • Nice to have: experience developing AI agents, MCP servers, IDE extensions, or automated code review bots (PR Review Bots) • Nice to have: knowledge of BigQuery cost and performance optimization, including BigQuery Editions and slot consumption • Nice to have: experience with Golden Paths, Golden Modules, and Platform Engineering practices
