📋 Description

• Work directly with the Head of Operations to drive business operations forward • Own and improve people operations, including contracts, onboarding, policies, and day-to-day employment processes • Manage finance operations including invoicing, expenses, payroll inputs, and cashflow • Identify and eliminate manual, slow, and duplicated work • Build tooling and automations using AI-assisted technologies • Manage SaaS, AI, and cloud spending; identify waste and reduce costs • Build processes, automations, and savings that become part of the company’s operating model • Own a broad operations remit across people, money, tooling, and process, with scope varying by level

🎯 Requirements

• Mid-level capability; the role is open at more junior and more senior levels • High-agency, proactive approach and ability to take initiative • Comfortable owning ambiguity and improving processes iteratively • Ability to read contracts • Ability to build spreadsheet models • Ability to automate workflows • Ability to negotiate renewals • Numerate and willing to work with finance operations; no formal finance knowledge required • Experience building or running a startup, small business, product, or team is relevant • Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth startup or technology company is advantageous • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and modern productivity tools • Reliability, follow-through, operational judgment, and ability to use modern tools well
