📋 Description

• Independently develop and further refine exterior design concepts based on design briefs, sketches, 2D drawings, and styling guidelines • Develop original design ideas and compelling styling solutions for demanding projects • Translate design intent into high-quality, precise exterior design solutions • Develop and elaborate exterior forms, body surfaces, and add-on components • Develop and optimize proportions, surfaces, form transitions, and character lines • Develop and evaluate different design variants and independently evolve design concepts • Take responsibility for the design quality and consistency of assigned project areas • Further develop and refine design concepts to a high level of design maturity • Prepare and present design stages for design reviews, presentations, visualizations, and other digital applications • Collaborate closely with designers, CAS modelers, engineers, and other project stakeholders • Coordinate professionally and engage in constructive exchange within interdisciplinary project teams • Independently manage complex design tasks and reliably deliver project objectives and quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience as an Exterior Designer, ideally in automotive or high-end product design • Extensive experience developing and implementing exterior design concepts and styling solutions • Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to independently develop design directions • Advanced proficiency in relevant 2D and 3D design software • Confident use of digital design and visualization tools • Proven ability to translate design briefs, 2D sketches, and styling guidelines into high-quality exterior design concepts • Strong understanding of design, proportions, surfaces, form language, and aesthetics • Excellent eye for detail, surface quality, and the design implementation of creative intent • Ability to critically evaluate and further develop design concepts, bringing them to a high level of design quality • Experience independently managing demanding design tasks and project areas • Independent, structured, and responsible approach to work • Strong team orientation and enthusiasm for collaborating in interdisciplinary project teams • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Excellent written and spoken German and English • Willingness to work on a project basis as a freelancer
