📋 Description

• Lead development and execution of the global trade operations strategy, governance framework, and operational roadmap • Establish enterprise-wide trade compliance policies, procedures, operational standards, and internal controls • Standardize trade processes across global manufacturing sites • Own the global trade policy framework, including SOPs, work instructions, governance documents, and operational playbooks • Lead business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives • Develop governance models for customs, export controls, due diligence, licensing, broker management, and regulatory compliance • Develop and execute the Global Trade Compliance technology and automation strategy • Partner with IT to implement and optimize SAP, SAP GTS, and other trade management platforms • Drive automation for product classifications, restricted party screening, due diligence, export licensing, record retention, broker integration, customs reporting, compliance dashboards, and workflow management • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, analytics, and digital tools • Provide executive oversight of Taiwan import and export operations • Ensure compliance with U.S. EAR, Taiwan SHTC regulations, customs requirements, sanctions laws, and other applicable international trade regulations • Oversee customs valuation, HTS classification, country of origin determinations, licensing activities, and broker management • Provide strategic oversight for customs audits, regulatory inquiries, investigations, disclosures, and government engagements • Advise Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Legal, Sales, and IT • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving ERP implementations, manufacturing expansion, supply chain optimization, and new product introductions • Oversee customs brokers, freight forwarders, consultants, and other trade service providers • Establish governance and performance metrics for third-party trade partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Customs, Engineering, Law, or related field or relevant work experience • 12+ years of progressive experience in global trade compliance, customs, import/export operations, or international supply chain • 7+ years of leadership experience managing global trade operations or compliance organizations • Demonstrated success building enterprise-wide governance programs, policies, and operational frameworks • Experience leading digital transformation, automation initiatives, and trade technology implementations • Experience supporting multinational manufacturing organizations within the technology, electronics, semiconductor, AI infrastructure, or server industries • Extensive knowledge of U.S. EAR, sanctions regulations, Taiwan customs and SHTC regulations, import/export compliance, customs valuation, HTS classification, and country of origin • Strong understanding of global customs operations, trade management systems, and regulatory compliance programs • Experience with SAP, SAP GTS, ERP systems, workflow automation platforms, analytics, and business intelligence tools • Proven executive leadership and ability to influence senior management across global organizations • Strong strategic planning, organizational development, and change management capabilities • Demonstrated ability to develop enterprise policies, governance frameworks, and scalable business processes • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational excellence mindset • Fluency in English is preferred
