📋 Description

• Collaborate deeply with Engineering teams • Participate in development of new features and initiatives from requirement analysis and test planning through execution, regression testing, and final release sign-off • Partner with Product Managers to prioritize testing efforts, clarify requirements, challenge assumptions from a quality perspective, coordinate Business Acceptance Testing, and advocate for customer needs • Collaborate with manual QA engineers on cross-team and cross-BU projects • Expand and maintain test coverage for new features and regression testing • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks • Ensure products meet high standards of quality and reliability • Work across backend services, event-driven workers, and scheduled data runners supporting Hippo’s contact center and customer data platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with a focus on manual testing (Black Box, White Box, and Grey Box) • Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes • Good understanding of integration, functional, end-to-end, and API testing (Postman) • Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting for complex front-end and back-end systems • Ability to create test cases and collections that exercise requirements and business rules in collaboration with PMs • Experience with test case management tools (preferably XRay) • Great command of English (written & spoken) • At least basic Polish • Availability to work afternoons until 8 PM three times a week • Experience working in a product company, ideally a startup/scale-up • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their impact on QA processes • Experience with Jira and agile testing methodologies • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM • Good analytical skills and attention to detail • Independent problem-solving and collaborative teamwork
