📋 Description

• Own Sword’s Applied AI platform roadmap, from strategic initiatives and innovation bets through to platform upkeep • Work at the intersection of AI and product management with agents, evaluations, harnesses, and observability • Own trade-offs involving cost, latency, quality, open-source models, and in-house development • Scope initiatives with Engineering, AI, and Product teams while balancing reusability with differentiation • Execute closely with Engineering, Product, Clinical, and Operations teams to keep scope aligned with high-value member experiences • Maintain the post-release quality bar and address model degradation in production • Own safety with the clinical team, including prevention, detection, and response to agent errors

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product management, including recent hands-on ownership of an AI-powered product • Significant technical depth in AI, particularly generative AI; understanding of models, prompting, retrieval, and agent architectures • Experience putting LLM-based features in front of real users, including evaluation, annotation, observability, and failure-mode handling • Ability to participate in AI or engineering discussions and connect technical decisions to member experience • Ability to track the state of the art and bring innovation using sound product and technical judgment • Clear written and verbal communication • Proficiency using coding agents for debugging, data analysis, production monitoring, small builds, tooling, research, and process automation • Ability to manage and grow a small product team • Demonstrated AI proficiency at least at Explorer (Level 1)
